Even if you are not hungry, the way the food is presented will make you crave to eat it. Talking about hospitality - People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. They make you feel at home when it comes to hospitality. In short - Foresta Restaurant can be described as - "They want us to bite into a cuisine, and think of them and smile. Food is love. Food has a power. Just loved the place. A beautifully made restraunt with interiors that leave you in awe for the moments that you're there for. It can get difficult for someone to find the place of course the board outside is pretty small but gmaps does a great job just trust it, the lane gets pretty narrow. Also, importantly they do have wheelchair accessibility 🦼 all you have to do is ask. The service is impeccable. Be sure to visit the place and for your first time I'd recommend visit when there's sun light outside preferably early morning around 8-9 the view outside will surely bless you with tranquility, enough to make your day a great one. p.s : order anything seriously they're good. recommendations : drink = toxic love and the mezze platter is lovely. ~ Sukhbir S

I had NO IDEA this place existed and that too in the heart of Dehradun, with such lush vegetation around… There location is absolutely idyllic and i would even go as far as to say ‘romantic’.. The backdrop of this restaurant has lush greenery and there is plenty of space to sit inside and outside.. They have wood stoves and fire pits outside if You want to enjoy your food with some nice firewood burning next to You.. We ordered Wanton Soup, Chicken Wings, Tandoori Platter, Peach Tea, Mojito, Guava Drink and so much more… Everything was delicious and tasty, the service and ambience is really nice… NOTE: They DO serve Non-Vegetarian food but DO NOT serve any alcohol Mos def coming here again… highly recommend ~ Kishi M

This restaurant is situated in a by lane from Rajpur Road, the very moment you turn on the lane you start getting the foresty vibes, as if you are descending into a blissful scenery. There are parking valets at every few metres with Walkies to ensure that your car reaches the parking easily without any hassle. Once you reach the parking (which is super spacious) you are welcomed by a view that is unparalleled. The restaurant offers indoor as well as outdoor seating with a Forest view that makes Foresta true to it's name. The cool breeze from the flowing creek is serendipitious. The service was prompt and polite. The food was amazing we tried their Quesadillas and Cappucino. Both were really good. My kid got ample of space to run around and have fun. I recently visited Romeo Lane Pub in dehradun and had a fantastic time. The ambiance is amazing, perfectly capturing the vibrant and laid-back dehradun vibe. The decor is stylish and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing evening out. The music and overall atmosphere were just right, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy with friends. A special shoutout to bartha and Rohit, our service boy, who was exceptionally professional and polite. His attentive and friendly service truly enhanced our experience. The entire staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were excellent, with a great selection that caters to various tastes. We visited Foresta for lunch and had a truly delightful experience. We tried the Arabic Mezze Platter, Achari Paneer Tikka Pizza, Man Chow Soup, and Berry Blossom, and everything was flavorful and well-presented. Locating this establishment can be challenging due to its concealed position, requiring careful navigation 🗺️. The items ordered were well-prepared, presented appealingly, and tasted satisfactory. Parking is available without charge. Both indoor and outdoor seating areas offer a jungle vista from the rear open section 🌳. While the pricing is somewhat elevated, it offers adequate value. A notable concern is the considerable distance between the kitchen and the dining areas, including the open-air seating 🌬️. If you want a lovely dining experience with the most beautiful ambience that captures the essence of Dehradun’s beauty and food made by chefs with an exquisite handle on cooking, Foresta is the place to go. They have so much variety on their menu that everyone in the family will be satisfied! I was only in town for a few days and ate at Foresta multiple times with my family because of how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend getting the avocado toast as an appetizer and trying the s’mores dessert made by their bakery chef, Akash (the dessert was so good I requested to meet the chef and personally thank him 😂). The mocktails/drinks in general are also really good. Lastly, on top of amazing ambience and delicious food, the staff are excellent, attentive and very helpful. Located on the rajpur road after sai mandir on left hand side of the road. Its 300 mts inside atbthe very end after u take left while coming from sai mandir towards Rajpur or the old mussorie rd. It has 3 restraunts ample parking in the middle. Open seating with the forest/natural water or seasonal water source by its side. You feel like seating in the middle of a true forest. Food is good, service is pretty nice. No indian dishes on the menu though. Nearest one would be fried rice and noodles. I had soup, fried rice and spaghetti with a watermelon lemonade. Total bill costed around 1700 rs with service tax which was good. Mineral bottles offered at the tables cost 350 rs so that a negative. No one cares to ask or tell about the water and when u realize its too late. Rest was all good. 5 star from my end mkstly beacuse of ambience, location, service. ~ Vratesh S

Please believe me, this place is heaven and first time not in mountains, it's in.... Forest ! It gives the real forest look....Actually, it's a Forest. The food, service and the ambience all is amazing. I would recommend everyone coming to Dehradun or staying there must experience once and pls do share your experience with me once. I really wants to know, how was your experience, basis which I can recommend few more places like this. Actually, kudos to the team of Foresta, who has really worked hard and created this place out of nowhere. We were a big group that arrived here for dinner on our recent trip to Dehradun. I must say it was one of the highlights of the day. The food was good with big portions. Pizzas are a must try. We asked for the terrace seating with jungle in the background. It felt a nice spot to enjoy food, if you dont mind little bugs or insect around. They are kept away using powerful fans. I reckon it will be an excellent spot to sit in colder weather. The service staff was helpful and accomodating with special taste needs for kids in our group. Definitely visiting again. On Rajpur road as you move ahead of the Sai Mandir, keep a close eye on the left hand to find a small lane leading to Foresta. As you drive through the lane, the place was huge. A spacious parking area with a garden with lush green plants, they have two sections of indoor seating. Plush sofas in one side of the seating or sit normally at a table, overlooking the beautiful lush green mountains, this place is perfect for those peaceful moments you need In the hustle bustle of the city. Things we ordered : Chai, honey lemon ginger tea, chicken pizza, mezze platter, cold coffee, kala khatta mocktail, Lemon soda, donuts and très lèche cake. Food at Foresta is good and everything we tried lived up to our expectations . Would specially recommend the mezze platter. We loved it. Service is quite quick. The prices here are slightly on the higher side but totally worth the upmarket place it is. Our visits to this place did not disappoint at all and would highly recommend them. ~ Anupriya S

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place is huge and offered exactly what exactly e wanted. A quiet place close to nature. Spread across a huge area with huge Seating and multiple option you can never feel disappointed. I’m sure kids will also love the place. Food They offer a seperate menu for kids and good enough options. No alcohol is served, only frappes & a few mocktails. Food overall is yumm and very well presented. One of the best upcoming restaurants in doon with beautiful ambiance,courteous staff,lip smacking food and not to forget the lovely chandeliers and light fixtures in and around the property(came to know that the owner is in the same business as well),one can choose from dinning in or outside,they have provisions for both.. we had dahi ke kebabs and tikkas for starter along with some fancy mock tails followed by Pad Thai noodles,Thai green curry which they serve with jasmine rice, chicken steak sizzler and grilled fish platter with veggies and mashed potatoes,the quality and the quantity of food was excellent, worth every penny spent(it’s not too high on pocket). Parking space is ample though one might get confused when google shows you a narrow by lane from the main road but the property has made arrangements of guards in every turn to move the traffic towards the restaurant smoothly.highly recommend it,a must visit place with family,friends or a date and I am definitely going to revisit Foresta soon. ~ shivani t

Absolute bliss this place!! It’s away from hustle bustle of the crazy Doon traffic n crowd n peace Zen fresh air of the mighty Himalayas. The Asian food is absolute delish. I had Tom Kha soup n Malaysia laksa. Being a Singaporean living in India, I miss my Southeast Asia food and the chef here are great at making these food. The chicken is sooo light n not spicy as per my taste bud. I wish I could have latte but I was so full but next time I’ll be back for sure. ~ Aslinah J

Absolutely love it. Nestled in a quaint corner of mountain while climbing towards Mussoorie from Dehradun. A babbling brook in the property mesmerizes you. The menu is elaborate with pan Asian, continental and Indian dishes. The portion is large and the taste is exquisite. The staff is friendly and courteous.
